Benny is a particularly comfortable sofa bed from Milano, with a Lampolet mechanism, thanks to its feather and down cushioning with polyurethane foam inserts. The chrome legs make Benny a contemporary sofa, that can be transformed into a conventional bed through its easy front-opening system, removing just the side arm-pillows. The sofa can be easily opened and the mattress and bed base unfolded in a few simple steps: you only have to remove the armrest cushions and activate a manual mechanism by using the handle hidden in the seat cushions. After the first pulling out movement, the seat cushions rotate under the bed base, and the mattress unfolds automatically.
Standard with springs (standard mattress included in all sofa beds)
The structure is made up of biconical helical springs in tempered steel wire, called “Bonnel”. They are linked together by a steel spiral that allows them to be bent avoiding damage. It is a relatively soft mattress, recommended for those who leave the sofa closed for long periods (also produced in the Class 1 IM and British Standard fireproof version).
